About Us
Company Profile
Industrial Software Limited was established 22 years ago in 2001 by two dedicated engineers with extensive knowledge of industrial systems and control.
Being strong and enthusiastic in systems software it was decided to specialise and offer customers high quality software expertise. Therefore, giving businesses the freedom to contract software help without the feeling that a full system must be purchased; i.e. hardware design and panel build.
Since 2001 Industrial Software Ltd has expanded and employs a number of software design engineers. All our engineers are also qualified as hardware engineers. This ensures that the system software is designed efficiently and safely from a process and manufacturing point of view and
enables safe working practice when testing/commissioning at customer sites.
Industrial Software Ltd customers range from large blue-chip clients in pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, utilities (water & gas), power generation and petrochemical to
small local businesses in CNC programming, specialised communications drivers etc.

DCOM Architecture
The Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) is a protocol that enables software components to communicate directly
over a network in a reliable, secure, and efficient manner.
Previously called "Network OLE," DCOM is designed for use across multiple network transports,
including Internet protocols such as HTTP. DCOM is based on the Open Software Foundation's DCE-RPC spec and
will work with both Java applets and ActiveX® components through its use of the Component Object Model (COM).
